Paul

Rev Paul Turley - Minister of the Congregation. Prior to joining the team and the congregation at Scots in early 2023, Paul was minister with Clayton Wesley Uniting Church in Beulah Park, Adelaide. Paul also serves as a Regional Coordinator with the Wimala Presbytery of the Uniting Church working with congregations and ministers in the northern and western suburbs of Adelaide and the northern and western regions of South Australia. Before his time with Clayton Wesley, Paul ministered in congregations and in prison chaplaincy in Darwin. Prior to that, Paul worked in not-for-profit organisations, church-based care agencies, and as a youth worker in Australia, the USA and the UK. Paul’s partner, Marisha, is a professional artist and has two young adult children. Paul also has two adult children and four grandchildren.

Rev Jill Lienert - Community Connections and Development Minister. Jill is an ordained minister who has spent most of her 20 years in ministry amongst multicultural communities of the Uniting Church. Jill comes to us with a long list of industry backgrounds including education, community development, arts centre management as well as resilience and wellbeing facilitation. We are pleased to have her on-board linking our caring congregation with the needs of our local community here in Adelaide.
